On Thursday 12 September, we celebrated the 1st graduating class of Tower Crane Erector Technicians, an important milestone for our sector.

The ceremony, organized at the Potain Academy in Saint-Pierre-de-Chandieu (France), awarded 8 work-study students, including 3 UPERIO employees: Nordine AKHSASSI from Challans (85), Valentin TORTAY from Vourey (38) Josua LEMAIRE from Fabrègues (34)
Congratulations to them for their commitment and their remarkable career!
A 2nd class started this year which includes 2 UPERIO employees and will end in January 2025.

It is only at the end of its 2 promotions that the title will be officially registered in the RNCP (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles). From there, other funding can be mobilised and our Crane Erector teams in place will be able to validate this title through the VAE (Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience).

The job of tower crane erector technician is central to UPERIO. Until now in France, this job was practiced without a diploma or certification. However, UPERIO has been engaged for many years in a process of recognition of assembly skills, initiated by the DLR and the Tower Crane Commission (CPMDG), to train new talents and guarantee the enhancement and recognition of this profession, adding a global safety action.

By providing our employees with quality training and official recognition of their skills, we contribute to their professional and personal development.
