Our Commitments
The situation in which humanity and earth find themselves today mandates that UPERIO – like any other company – must be concerned with reducing the negative impact of its activities and preserving both the human well-being and the planet. We have therefore identified 5 pillars and ten areas in which we have committed ourselves to achieving sustainable goals. These goals are based on the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set in 2015.
Our compass to build a better world
In translating our purpose statement into the compass guiding our activities, we have set the foundations of the roadmap that we will collectively pursue in order to manage our impacts and to shift the baselines in our sector of activity.
Sustainable Development Goals
UPERIO has wished to align its commitments to the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals to demonstrate its will to take part in the global fighting against climate change, social conditions and societal issues. With our compass we aim to contribute to the following 7 SDGs.
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Ensure inclusive quality training and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
Contribute to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Partnership for Sustainable Development.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. All stakeholders are calling to contribute: government, civil society, companies, investors and citizens.
Our purpose
